We had been promising Tucker for months, that when football season was over for the older kids, he could choose an activity that he wanted to do. The little kids have been in tow to all the practices and games that Tanner & Tate were involved in, and they said,"When is it our turn?" Tucker tried soccer last spring, which he didn't like, and had no interest in basketball. SO we went a different direction. We talked about what he was good at, and the talents he was showing. He always is doing flips on the couch or showing us little tricks that he can do with balance. So we decided to see if the local boys gymnastics program had any openings, after clearing it with his cardiologist.
He had been bugging me for a while saying, "Have you called them yet?" So I finally called and his first class was last week and he loved it. He is the youngest in his class, but thought it was cool to be with some of Tate's friends from school. By the end of the class, he had almost mastered his front and back rolls, which surprised the teacher, as some of the older students haven't done that yet. He came home excited and wanted to keep practicing! I don't know if you will see him at the Olympics anytime soon, but for now we are happy the he has found a little niche in a house full of sports minded sons. All we have to do now is see what Tommy wants to be involved in. I think he is happy just trying to beat older brothers scores on the Wii, which for the moment is just fine with me!

That is great for Tucker to find something challenging that he would like to do. Looks like we have another budding gymnist in the family!!!! Way to go Tucker!!!
